Overview
The KY-026 Flame Sensor Module is one of the most commonly available flame detection modules from Chinese manufacturers. It is based on a high-sensitivity infrared photodiode and an LM393 voltage comparator, allowing it to provide both analog signal output and an adjustable digital output.
The onboard potentiometer lets users adjust the flame detection threshold, while indicator LEDs provide power and detection status. Due to its simple interface and reliable flame sensing, it is widely used in fire alarm systems, robotics, industrial monitoring, and educational electronics projects.
