Overview

The FC-51 IR Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module is one of the most common infrared sensors available from Chinese manufacturers. It emits infrared light and detects the reflected signal from nearby objects. An onboard potentiometer allows adjustment of the detection distance, while indicator LEDs show power and object detection status.

It is widely used in obstacle-avoiding robots, automatic doors, object counters, smart vehicles, and industrial automation projects.
