Product Description

Overview

The KY-038 is one of the most common sound sensor modules used in electronics projects. It detects sound using an electret condenser microphone and compares the signal against an adjustable threshold using the onboard LM393 comparator. The module provides a real-time analog output and a digital output that switches when the sound level exceeds the preset threshold.

It is commonly used for clap switches, sound-triggered automation, security alarms, and educational electronics projects.
