Overview
The MQ-2 Gas Sensor Module is one of the most widely used gas detection modules in electronics and IoT projects. It is based on the MQ-2 gas sensor with an onboard LM393 comparator, allowing both analog gas concentration measurement and adjustable digital threshold detection.
The module features an onboard potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment, power and status LEDs, and a heated sensing element for reliable gas detection. It is commonly used in gas leak alarms, smoke detection systems, industrial monitoring, and smart home safety applications.
